Hi everyone...sorry I didn't give a date for the end of the giveaway. It is scorching hot here in Ireland and I have been enjoying the warmth. It has not been without it's cloudy moments however.
My cousin's mother passed away on Monday and I was all set to go back to the UK but it could be two to three weeks before the pm results are available and then there may need to be an inquest. So sad for my poor little cousin who has lost her mother at far too early an age.
I have a finish: but it is for Jane (loopy loo) and the summer exchange. Jane has been there for me whenever I have needed a kind word or a request for crafty help. I am really enjoying putting this wee package together. Jane knows we are a bit broke and understands that what I send is from the heart. It isn't about who sends what to who: it is about having fun exchanging and for me, a wee chance to say thank you to her. Thank you Jane.
The charts are coming on a storm. My model stitchers are Elisa and Cath. It is a bit of a learning curve for me since I have never done anything like this before but I am really enjoying it. Important lesson though: when you have a crappy computer program with dodgy colours, you really need to look at real threads to get an idea of how they go together (or don't). Thank you Cath for your patience!
We have Pink Key Hope, Laugh, Love and Live and Pink Key Just for Today....Live. And of course, fight like a girl which you can find in the previous post. Cath has had the great idea of using this chart as an ipod holder or mobile phone holder....
I don't want to show them until I have all the models finished: Elisa has been stitching up a storm and has finished two beautifully. I am happy to wait until they are finished; this should be fun, not pressure and I know they will be worth the wait.
I had some lovely comments on the giveaway post but only two posts which said for definite that they wanted to enter...so I have drawn those two names and first prize goes to...........Kirsten. As there were only two I literally did a heads and tails with a euro and no heads or tails!
Carolyn you win all the charts as second prize.
Kirsten and Carolyn, if you could email me on stitcheranon@yahoo.co.uk then I can sort out getting these wee prizes to you xxxxx
Phew..so hot...off for a snooze I think.
Have a good week everyone and chat soon!
