First Giveaway Received

Just heard from Jenny.  She has received her giveaway so finally I get to show a picture.  I love exchanges and giveaways but you do have to wait before you show your photos!

Jenny's favourite colour was  yellow, so this is what I sent.

It has been a while since I have stitched on aida but I have some very strong aida which is perfect for pin cushions as the pins don't seem to leave a mark.  This was stitched with a hand dyed thread, Belle Soire I think and I hand painted the little wooden flower buttons to match.  The design is one of my favourites.  A freebie from istitch's blog (on my list of blogs I read) and far too pretty to only stitch in February.  I love the victorian effect of the letters, fabric and lace.

I picked up the little button tin when I was in the UK: in fact I picked up several as I knew they would be perfect for exchanges and things.

So that is one down: three to be received!

Today I finished my first ever ....something else.  But guess what?  I can't tell you what it is or show you because yes, it is for an exchange!

Have a good week pepes and see you all soon!
