Anyone for a Christmas Exchange?

It is raining and cold and soooooo not like August weather; not as we would want it anyway.  I finally have my stitching bug back: not sure if it is because of the cold weather or the beta blockers I am on rofl (another story)...and I got to thinking about christmas.  You know how it goes: one minute you are counting crosses, the next you are working out where to put the christmas tree.

And then I started to think about the nice things I usually do at christmas, and how much I missed out on last Christmas because of illness.  So I would like to make up for it.

I would like to host a 12 days of Christmas exchange with a difference.  The 12 days begin 12 days before Christmas and each day has a hand made, wrapped gift which can hang on a christmas tree.  The 12th Day is Christmas Eve and can be a little more special, so the tree is completed in time for Christmas.   The 12 days of Christmas-Tree Exchange.  Items can be stitched, sewn or anything hand made (but some should have a needle and thread in there somewhere).  All gifts should be received by DECEMBER 1st (so if real life happens and someone can't fulfill their exchange, I have time to make things for the recipient).

What do you think?  If you are interested (bearing in mind it is quite a big commitment) please email me on stitcheranonatyahoodotcodotuk.  This will be an international exchange.

There...I have done it.  Operation ' this christmas will be ace' is up and in action lol.

Oh and dont forget my giveaway: previous post!!!

  3. Wow! I would love a go at this but would never stitch 12 things in such a short space of time. Have fun though ladies, I will enjoy seeing what you open each day.

  4. That sounds like an amazing exchange, I think that will definitely fit your "make Christmas rock" operation :)

Unfortunately I couldn't commit to 12 items but I look forward to seeing yourself and Magee rock this :)
