Ooops, I'm late. I'm so sorry. Gifted Gorgeous being hosted by Serendipitous Stitching! Pop over and feel free to join in xx.
It's been a funny week. I've finished the design for the Lakeside Needlecraft SAL Yay!!
I can't share any of it with you just yet because it's a commission. Kate at Lakeside will do all the work for it (part from sewing it..I'm still doing that! lol, I have to have some perks!)
I have a new free chart for it but it will have to wait. I'm not so well at the moment. Nothing serious. I've started a new treatment regime and it's going to take a little getting used to AND I've picked up some pesky bug...God bless my little broken body! (Quote Rizzo the Rat).
I do have a gift to show. Well, three gifts really. In my fund raiser for 'Help the Hospice', we have had one blanket, one cardi and I've crocheted another baby cardigan. I know others are busy making and creating for this wonderful cause and I'm very, very grateful.
They send the baby items to me, with a card saying who it is from and where they are from and once I have a nice big bundle of baby things, I'll hand them over to the Hospice Shop.
A friend donated this pretty pink can lilac baby blanket and little cardigan.
And I finished this pretty little crochet cardigan. I loved the ladybird buttons.
There have been lots of other beautiful donations. Feel free to pop over to the fb group and if you can offer support and cheer us on or want to get involved, please feel free to join. You will be very welcome!
Help the Hospice
Have a great week everyone!
Lovely gifts for the hospice. Hope you get settled into your new treatment soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking part in GG this month. Giving to charity is always a worthy entry for the SAL. Especially those sweet little cardigans with the ladybird buttons.
ReplyDeleteAwesome and beautiful work! Take very good care of yourself Gaynor.♥ You are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteThe two baby cardigans and the blanket are wonderful gifts for the Hospice. The ladybird buttons on the one you made are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteGaynor, please look after yourself, my dear. Lovely work by the ladies on the Hospice pieces.
ReplyDeleteLovely gifts. We are fans of the ladybird button too, my granddaughter has to have them on her school cardigan - she says it so she knows which one is hers (I think it gives her street cred at school as they all want them, oh to be 5 years old!)
ReplyDelete{hugs} xx
Beautiful items for the hospice...they will all be treasured, for sure!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely items for the hospice; such a lovely idea x
