April 6th WIPocolypse and Christmas Rules Swap

Well, what a great (but tiring) week.  A good result re; health and ......WIPocolypse updates!!!! Yahoo!!!
I have already featured these on my blog but it is good to have a summary which is what I will do I think.
This month I had two finished.
 Primitive Betty's Bunny and Strawberries

Ewe, Eye and Friends:
Petite Examplar 2

I love the WIPocolypse: I have go so much stitching done and I think it is simply because there is no pressure.  You can just stitch what you want when you want and so far it has been quite productive.
I will be updating my WIP list as I have gone off some projects and want to add a few different ones.
Which brings me round to LK Xmas Rules.  I have all of the charts, charms and the fabric and wondered if anyone would want to swap for other charts???

I think I looked at a lot of my stuff when I was on chemo and for some reason the association has remained and I just don't want to stitch it anymore.  I was hoping to have finished it for last xmas which was not the nicest christmas I have ever had but couldn't even count properly so put it down again and again. They are in new condition and it is a shame to waste them.
I love primitives and small charts: nothing too American (because I am not American lol) so no flags etc but will be open to suggestions.

Strangely, they reckon we go off food we fanced whilst on chemo: I have no issues with food...just charts haha.

And on a final note, is anyone else doing the Papillion SAL???  I have decided to do the one with varied stitches to push myself (Jane..you would be proud of me lol)..I enjoyed the Examplar finish with its varied stitches so am going to give it a go.  It is a 2 year project so that is an extra incentive to keep on going lol.

I have decided to use Rose Jazlyn which is a fabric I have never used before.  No idea on colours just yet: I will have to wait for my fabric to arrive....from America!

  1. I have seen a lot of people signing up for it on the The Stitch Specialist's Yahoo group. You'll have so much fun with the different stitches.
