    Hi - my name’s Craig, and I’m writing to you from the charity Concern Worldwide. We have an exciting new cross-stitch challenge - #StitchforSyria - we’d love you to be part of.

    Concern have been helping people caught up in the Syria Crisis for years. In nearby Lebanon, we run crafting groups where refugees from Syria work on craft projects that give them a vital source of income. But the sessions do more than put food on the table – they give women a rare chance to relax, talk about their problems and make friends. These sessions really do change lives.

    #StitchforSyria is building links between these women and stitchers in the UK. We’re asking people here to download and stitch a beautiful pattern inspired by the ones used in Lebanon. People can send us pictures of what they’ve made – or even the real thing – and we will pass the results on to the women we are supporting, sending a message of hope from the UK to the Middle East.
